a timely reposting of the list

Confirmation bias

Confirmation bias is the most powerful force in this or any galaxy.  Side note. This is very easy to prove all you need to do is go looking for it.  Side side note.  This blog is proof of this, Murphy's law for instance, only matters/exist when things go wrong.

satire

Satire doesn't work on Nazis. Or any extremist political party or philosophy.

simple solution

Rule (number?)  If you have a single simple solution to a problem then it's probably, read absolutely, wrong.

Sport rule one.

The amount of fun in a game/sport is inversely proportional to the amount of money invested.

new year.

New Year's Eve is not a good day to make promises to yourself.  Nor New Year's Day.

Rules of Facebook.

1 Don't.  2 Please Don't.  3 If you going to, be nice.  4 It is not a place for decisions or opinions or comfortable pondering.  5 Don't

New Rule.

All storage will fail.  Digital or otherwise.

New rule (numerical placement to be assigned at a later date)

An object isn't totally broken until it cannot be fixed with gaffer tape

political memes

Any political pointed meme posted on any social media that is intended to solicit encourage or change a political belief or system will fail to do so in any way. In all likelihood it will have the opposite effect.

New rule ( no number yet)

Never trust a headline with numbers in it. Any headline with a number in it is a bad headline. In that it is probably wrong at a very fundamental level.

List so far.

New rule for the people.

New rule for the whole world to live by. Ok it may not be a rule. But. My blog my rules. Economics is always the reason.

New rule.

Sarcasm does not work on the Internet. This is particularly true in the comment section.  Unless you are very careful with it's use.

Rules are bad.

They were entire generations of people who have at some point believed that rules were bad. Understandable I admit, questioning, challenge someone else's rules and your own rules is good. But what if there is a natural selection of rules?

New world rules (order).

It has been sometime since I did this blog . Things have changed since my last entry . I feel the need to address the world a little more vigorously than ever before. This is a blog about rules, my rules. Absent minded, abstract, theoretical, pondering,  but rules never the less.

NEW YE(w)AR

New year New war At some point in any given year someone somewhere will start a war. The only question is who. This year who will put the "W" in year. YEWAR A new word. For the world. Meaning a year in which a war started.
There are seven shades of ball shit.
Possible rule The more you try to convince your self you need something the less likely you are to use it. I tunes anyone?
